4 Broiler halves
1/2 c. melted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp. wine vinegar
1 tbsp. pure maple syrup
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. marjoram
Place broiler halves on rack, skin side up, 4 to 5 inches from glowing coals.
Combine remaining ingredients; blend well.
Broil chicken halves 20 minutes; turn and brush with maple mixture.
Broil 20 minutes longer, brushing with sauce often, until done.
