Hot Honey BBQ

1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup chili garlic sauce
1 cup Catalina dressing
1 teaspoon ground ginger
 
In a mixing bowl, stir together remaining ingredients. Stir until blended
 
(This sauce is hot)

Classic Bbq Sauce
 
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion , finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup ketchup
1 cup American-style chili sauce
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons steak sauce
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

In a heavy bottomed medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onion and the garlic and cook, stirring often, until the onion is golden, about 8 minutes.

Stir in the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer, stirring often, until slightly thickened, about 40 minutes. Cool completely. (To store, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week)

A Georgia BBQ Sauce
 
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Juice 1 lemon
1 large onion, sliced
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup catchup
1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke
 
Mix first 10 ingredients; bring to a boil and boil for 20 minutes, uncovered.
Add catchup, Worcestershire, and Liquid Smoke.

Basic Carolina BBQ Sauce
 
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 large teaspoon chili powder
1/4 cup tomato catsup
 
Place all ingredients into a sauce pan. Boil until thick.
Pour over meat 1/2 hour before being done, basting constantly.
