TACO SAUCE WITH GREEN CHILE

3 c. tomatoes, peeled and chopped
3 c. green chile, peeled and chopped (remove seeds if desired)
3/4 c. onion, chopped
  1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 c. vinegar
 
Combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer 5 minutes. Pack in hot, clean jars. Use all lids. Process in water-bath for 30 minutes. Start counting processing time when water returns to a boil. Makes 4 pints or 8 half pints per recipe.
