Pickled Peaches
 
 
 
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Vinegar
1 c. water
3 qt. Indian peaches, peeled
Cloves
 
 
Combine the sugar, vinegar and water in a saucepan and bring to boiling point, stirring frequently.
Stud each peach with 2 cloves and add to the syrup.
Cook until peaches are tender.
Pack the peaches in sterilized jars and cover with syrup.
Seal.
