4 c. peeled, chopped peaches
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/3 c. milk
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
Cover peaches with 1 cup sugar and set aside.
Combine remaining sugar with remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Fold in peaches and pour into well greased deep baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes and serve hot or cold with whipped cream or dessert topping.
